Join us for Future Pathways, M-AAA’s virtual workshop series focused on delivering essential skills to nonprofit managers and arts leaders.

In today’s fast-paced and interconnected world, organizations must be prepared to navigate crises effectively. This workshop will provide participants with the essential tools and strategies needed to develop a strong crisis communications plan, ensuring they can respond swiftly, transparently, and strategically when emergencies arise.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Defining a crisis and understanding its impact on your organization
  • Establishing a crisis response team and outlining key roles
  • Developing procedures for internal and external communication
  • Managing media relations during a crisis
  • Creating key documents to streamline crisis response efforts
  • Post-crisis evaluation and rebuilding trust

Who is this for? Artists, arts leaders, creative business leaders, arts and cultural organizations, museums, galleries, and educators. Individuals, nonprofit organizations, fiscally sponsored organizations, and federally recognized tribes regionally and nationally, can all register for this free virtual event.

About Future Pathways

In today’s rapidly shifting arts ecosystem, the ability to adapt and sustain creative initiatives is more crucial than ever. Arts leaders and nonprofit managers face mounting pressures, from financial challenges to increasing workloads and mental fatigue.

M-AAA’s new Future Pathways workshop series helps arts leaders respond to these realities, offering expert-led sessions and resources to address key topics such as sustainability, burnout, crisis communications, and fundraising. By providing practical strategies and shared learning experiences, this workshop series empowers arts leaders  to navigate challenges with confidence while fostering a culture of well-being and innovation within their organizations.
