Announcing New Artist INC Live Cohorts in Kansas City, Houston

Mid-America Arts Alliance is pleased to announce the newest cohort of Artist INC Live in Kansas City.
Twenty-five artists were selected from a competitive application process, and the program will begin in March 2022. Selected artists represent multiple artistic disciplines including visual, literary, craft, and performing arts. Artist INC is a professional development program of, by, and for artists of all disciplines.
The 2022 Kansas City participants are:
Jasmine Ali (Visual Arts: Graphics), Mark Allen Alford, Jr. (Photography), Emily Bartlett (Theatre), stephanie becker (Visual Arts: Painting), Summer Brooks (Visual Arts: Sculpture), Michelle Chan (Crafts: Fiber), Jamie Campbell (Multidisciplinary), Courtney Collado (Dance), Lorrie Eigles (Visual Arts), Indigo Gaydusek (Visual Arts: Painting), Jillian Haun (Multidisciplinary), Anne Herrero (Visual Arts: Painting), Elizabeth Howard (Literary Arts), April Mai (Visual Arts: Painting), Josie Mai (Visual Arts), Tanner Martine (Crafts: Clay), DJ Matheny (Visual Arts: Painting), Mathew Meunier (Crafts: Clay), Julia Othmer (Performing Artist), Cari Payer (Photography), Jennae Pero (Media Arts), Chico Sierra (Visual Arts: Painting), Harold Smith (Visual Arts: Painting), Jeffrey Tamblyn (Photography), and Joy Zimmerman (Music).
Artist INC Kansas City will run weekly for eight weeks beginning on March 7 and culminate with a public presentation on April 25. Sessions will be live in-person with hybrid capabilities due to the pandemic. Kansas City Artist Peer Facilitators for this session are: Beau Bledsoe, Chris Dahlquist, Jose Faus, Phil Shafer, Sarah Hearn, and Madison Mae Parker.
In conjunction with Fresh Arts, we are also pleased to announce the fifth cohort of Artist INC Houston. The 2022 Houston participants are:

Artist INC Houston 2022 will run weekly for eight weeks beginning on March 9 and culminate with a public presentation on May 4, 2022. Sessions will be hosted in-person thanks to space sponsor Sesh Coworking. Hybrid virtual capabilities will be offered due to the pandemic.
